Mantra Rosemary Kitchen Cabinets
Available on the Omni door
Green cabinets put some people off until they see a swatch like Rosemary. There is far more gray in it than garden green, so it behaves like a neutral across a wall of doors and only declares itself when something white sits alongside. Muted, dusty and easy to live with.

Color & Look
The hue reads as a true green, but the saturation is very low, which is what separates Rosemary from the saturated sages and olives that have been everywhere. The value sits in the middle, so the doors have presence without weight. On the Omni sample the color covers the frame and the recessed panel evenly, and the flat finish means the only variation is the soft shadow at the panel edge. It is the kind of green that looks older than it is.
North light strips the warmth out and pushes Rosemary toward a gray-green, almost slate, which is where many people fall for it. Afternoon sun from the south or west does the reverse and brings out an olive cast that gets stronger as the light goes warm at the end of the day. Under 2700K bulbs it stays olive. A kitchen with windows on two sides will show both versions in the same afternoon.
It is regularly confused with sage, with olive, and with a plain warm gray depending on the room it is photographed in. The useful comparison is against a neutral: set Rosemary next to Mantra Mineral and the green is unmistakable, where Mineral only drifts that way. There is no glaze and no grain in the finish — this is flat opaque paint, so the color stays even and any character in the kitchen has to come from the stone, tile or metal you put with it.
Construction & Quality
Mantra is part of the MasterBrand family and is built on plywood construction — ½″ plywood ends and ¾″ plywood adjustable shelves — with a solid-wood dovetail drawer box. Available on the Omni door.
Doors and drawers are soft-closing as standard, on 6-way adjustable hinges and under-mount full-extension guides. Mantra is ICC-ES certified to ANSI A161.1 and carries a limited 5-year warranty.
Where It Works
Islands and base cabinets are where Rosemary usually starts, with a white or off-white above, and that split suits almost any room size. Taken through a whole kitchen it is more committed but still calm, because the color is so muted, and it looks best that way in a room with good light and pale counters. In a dark kitchen the green can go murky by evening, so we would keep it below the counter line and let the uppers stay light.
It sits naturally in traditional and cottage-leaning rooms and works just as well in a transitional kitchen with plain doors. Beyond the kitchen, a Rosemary vanity gives a bath some color without the risk of a bold choice, and it is a good mudroom color because a mid-tone green hides the traffic a back door brings in. We have also used soft greens like this on a bar or a built-in office wall, where the color reads more like furniture.
Pairing Ideas
Countertops
Bright white quartz is the classic partner and makes the green read clearly. Vicostone Thasos or Elbert are near-solid and keep everything quiet. Vicostone Covelani or MSI Calacatta Miraggio Cielo add marble-look veining for movement. If you want the olive side to come forward instead, Vicostone Florence Gold in cream warms the whole pairing.

White tile lets the cabinets carry the color. MSI Greecian White Arabesque or Hexagon Glossy Mosaic White both add shape while staying pale and reflective. For a room that can take more, Kenzzi Tamensa Encaustic or Modena Encaustic bring pattern that suits the slightly vintage feel of a muted green. MSI Everest Interlocking Pattern in cream is the warmer, softer option.
Backsplash tile →Hardware
Brass and gold are the natural companions to green, and the Berenson Swagger brushed gold or the Champagne Bar Pull both do it well without looking costume. Bronze works if the room leans rustic and picks up the olive. Matte black is the modern route and gives crisp definition. Brushed nickel is the quietest and keeps the focus on the color.
Pulls & knobs →Floors
Warm oak flooring amplifies the olive in Rosemary and makes the whole kitchen feel softer. A cooler or grayer wood keeps the color on its slate side. Because green cabinets and wood tones are both natural colors, we tend to sample them together rather than trusting photos. LVP in a mid-tone oak look is the practical choice for a busy back hall.
