What it is
A wet bar is a true bar: it has a sink and plumbing, so you can mix drinks, rinse glasses, and fill a pitcher without walking back to the kitchen. That running water is exactly what sets it apart from a dry bar.
It becomes a natural gathering point — in a family room, a finished basement, or off a great room — and we design it to feel like a built-in piece of furniture rather than a utility counter.
Good to know — Wet bar vs. dry bar: a wet bar has a sink and plumbing; a dry bar does not. If a water line isn’t practical, a dry bar gives you the same look with more placement freedom.
