Fabuwood Aqua Marina Gloss Kitchen Cabinets
Available on the Catalina door
Soft seafoam — a pale blue-green sitting exactly between the two, finished with a high shine. Aqua Marina Gloss is gentle enough to use across a whole kitchen and still clearly a color rather than a neutral. It suits coastal, contemporary and cheerful rooms.

Color & Look
The tone is a muted aqua: light in value, low in saturation, holding equal parts blue and green so it never settles firmly into either. Think of sea glass, or the inside of an old enamel pot. The gloss is properly reflective, close to mirror-bright, so the face of each door carries a soft gradient from a pale washed highlight near the light source down to a deeper, greener tone in the shaded lower half. There is no pattern or grain underneath it at all.
Light swings this color more than most. North light brings out the blue and cools it toward a pale slate-aqua; south and west sun pushes it green and makes it noticeably brighter. Warm bulbs at night dull the green and it can read almost gray. Because the surface reflects, a green lawn outside the window or a warm wood floor inside will both tint the doors slightly. In practice that means the kitchen looks a little different in the morning than at dinner.
It gets called mint, seafoam and duck-egg blue depending on who is looking, which tells you how balanced the hue is. It is a long way from the blues it sits beside in the range — Azul Indigo Gloss and Azul Marino Gloss are both dark and unmistakably blue, while this is pale and half green. Against a white it reads clearly as color; against a gray quartz counter it reads as a soft tint rather than a bold choice.
Construction & Quality
Aqua Marina Gloss belongs to Fabuwood’s Illume & Ovela series — European frameless construction with applied gloss, matte and textured surfaces rather than paint or stain.
Every Fabuwood cabinet is fitted with Blum soft-close hinges and drawer systems. Fabuwood backs its cabinetry with a lifetime warranty, with a separate Blum warranty on the hardware, and lists CARB2 compliance and ICC-ES and AWI/QCP certification.
Fabuwood groups its colors in tiers. Aqua Marina Gloss is a Designer color, which is made to order rather than stocked, so it is worth allowing for that in the schedule.
Where It Works
At this value it can go everywhere without overwhelming a room, which is unusual for a colored cabinet. A full kitchen in Aqua Marina Gloss stays bright and feels intentional, especially with white counters and a white tile wall. It is just as effective used on the island alone, where it becomes the one piece of color in an otherwise neutral kitchen, or on a run of lowers under white uppers if you want the color kept below eye level.
Small kitchens handle it well because it is light and reflective; it will not shrink a room. It suits coastal and contemporary schemes most naturally, and it works in a bright transitional kitchen too. Elsewhere, it is a good color for a powder room vanity, a laundry that needs lifting, a butler’s pantry or a bar. It is a poor match for a heavily traditional room with dark millwork, where it tends to look out of place.
Pairing Ideas
Countertops
Gray quartz gives the color a calm frame without competing. Vicostone Roxana, Vicostone Melinda or Vicostone Monterosa are near-solid and keep things quiet. Cambria Minera brings veining if the counter needs interest, and MSI Vena Carbona is a deeper near-solid gray that grounds a full kitchen of this color and stops it reading too sweet.

White is the safe and strong answer here. MSI White Glossy Herringbone Mosaic matches the shine of the doors, while MSI Statuario Matte 2X2 Hexagon Mosaic takes the opposite route and gives the eye a matte surface to rest on. For warmth against all the cool tones, MSI Portico Pearl Arabesque is a cream mosaic that softens the whole scheme.
Backsplash tile →Hardware
Brushed gold is the most flattering contrast — the Berenson Swagger 96mm Modern Brushed Gold Pull warms up the cool aqua and looks deliberate. Champagne does the same more quietly. Brushed nickel or chrome keeps the room cool and coastal. Matte black is the sharpest and most modern pairing, and it reads strongly against a color this light.
Pulls & knobs →Floors
A warm floor is what keeps this from tipping into a cold scheme. Natural or mid-brown engineered hardwood underneath does most of the work; a warm oak LVP does the same in a wetter room. If you prefer tile, a cream or warm gray porcelain works. Avoid a cool blue-gray floor, which stacks tint on tint and flattens the kitchen.
