Bertch White Gloss Bathroom Vanity Finish
Offered on Bertch’s Linea frameless vanities
White Gloss is a high-gloss acrylic — a clean, very slightly cool white with a near-mirror surface. On a frameless Linea vanity it reads as a single reflective plane rather than as cabinetry. It is the brightest finish Bertch offers for a bathroom, and the most modern.

Color & Look
The chip reads as a crisp white with a whisper of cool gray in it, nothing cream or yellow. What dominates is not the color but the surface: the acrylic is polished to a true gloss, and the sample carries a broad curved reflection sweeping across it, lighter along one band and faintly shadowed above. That reflection is the finish. Where a painted door holds one flat value, this one holds whatever the room gives it.
That makes bathroom lighting half of the result. Under warm bulbs the white picks up a gentle cream tone in the reflected band while staying cool in the shadowed areas, so the front has two temperatures at once. Under cool daylight it reads glass-clean. A mirror facing the vanity effectively doubles the brightness, because the gloss returns light rather than absorbing it. In a small room this is the finish that makes the space read larger.
People often assume high gloss means a plastic or laminate look. It does not here — acrylic polishes to a depth closer to automotive paint, with no texture and no orange peel. The other assumption is that it will yellow. Acrylic is far more stable than that. What you do see, honestly, is every fingerprint and water droplet while they are there, because the surface gives them a perfectly smooth stage to sit on.
Series & Construction
White Gloss is one of Bertch’s high-gloss acrylics, offered on the Linea series. Linea is Bertch’s contemporary frameless collection — full-access European construction, flat slab and reveal doors, high-gloss acrylic and matte or textured foil, freestanding or wall-mounted.
Bertch builds these full-access frameless, with 5/8" solid hardwood drawer boxes dovetailed front and back and plywood floors, backs and shelves. Undermount soft-close drawer glides and concealed soft-close hinges come standard.
Every Bertch vanity is built to order in Waterloo, Iowa: configurations, storage solutions, tops and finishes are selected per project, nothing is off-the-shelf. Bertch warrants its products to be free from defects in material or workmanship for as long as they are owned by the original purchaser.
Where It Works
This is a contemporary bathroom finish and it does not pretend otherwise. In a small or windowless powder room it is genuinely useful, bouncing light around and making a tight space feel open. In a primary bath it suits a wall-mounted run, where the floating base and the reflective front together make the floor read continuous. Freestanding on a Metal Leg or the Mid-Century Modern Leg Base keeps the same lightness while giving the piece a visible footing.
The trade-off is visible maintenance. Fingerprints, water spots and toothpaste all show immediately on a glossy white surface — they are easy to remove with a soft damp cloth, but you will see them in the meantime, particularly on the drawer front under the bowl. A microfiber cloth and no abrasives is the whole routine. The finish suits the flat slab and reveal doors of the Linea series — Freya, Joss, Ridley and Sullivan — where there is no profile to interrupt the reflection.
Pairing Ideas
Vanity Top
Contrast keeps a white gloss vanity from disappearing. Bertch Carbon — Oasis Solid Surface and Bertch Galena — Oasis Solid Surface both give it a defined edge, and Bertch GoldStar — Oasis Solid Surface adds warmth. For a brighter, continuous look, Bertch Platinum White — Cultured Marble or Bertch Chipped Ice — Veined Quartz keep the whole piece pale. A custom slab like MSI Calacatta Monaco — white quartz brings veining.
Bertch vanity tops →Sink & Bowl
An Oasis Solid Surface top has the bowl integrated into the deck, one continuous piece — a clean match for a frameless vanity. The bowl style is chosen with the top. Quartz and cultured marble use undermount bowls. A bowl eats the drawer run below it, and on a Linea vanity the drawers are usually the storage, so one bowl often wins.
Hardware & Legs
Linea fronts can run on a reveal with no hardware at all. If you want pulls, keep them slim: the Berenson Metro 160mm Matte Black Pull draws a sharp line across the white, and the Berenson Bravo 56mm Brushed Nickel Pull is quieter. The Berenson Swagger 96mm Modern Brushed Gold Pull warms it. A Metal Leg under a freestanding base reads consistently modern.
Pulls & knobs →Mirror & Lighting
With a reflective vanity below, keep the mirror simple and narrower than the top so the two surfaces do not compete. Frameless or very thin-framed suits the Linea look. Sconces at either side give even light at the face and read as deliberate against a plain wall; a wide overhead fixture also works here, since the gloss front bounces light back upward on its own.
